2. Hosting

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc. (USA) and delivered via its content delivery network. In doing so, technical access data is automatically processed: IP address, date and time of access, browser type, and operating system. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and stable operation of the website). Because Vercel Inc. is based in the USA, this may involve a transfer of personal data to a third country; this is based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) of the European Commission and, where applicable, a certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

a) Contact Form

When you submit the contact form, your details (name, email address, message) are transmitted via a server-side function of this website to our existing email mailbox at IONOS (IONOS SE, Germany) so that we can reply to your inquiry by email. Your data is used exclusively to process your inquiry and is not shared with any further third parties. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures).

b) Project Request Form

For project requests, this website uses the form service Basin (provider: Moonshot Ventures Inc., Canada). Your details - including any images you optionally upload - are transmitted to Basin, processed there, and forwarded to us. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) and, to the extent you voluntarily provide optional contact details, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent). As Basin is based in Canada, personal data may be transferred to a third country; the European Commission has issued an adequacy decision under Art. 45 GDPR for Canada with respect to organizations subject to Canada's PIPEDA data protection law. Using the form is voluntary - you can alternatively get in touch by email at any time.

4. Cookies and Tracking

This website sets one technically necessary cookie ("sita-cookie-consent", stored for 6 months), which remembers that you have confirmed the cookie notice. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR and § 25(2) no. 2 TTDSG (German Telecommunications-Telemedia Data Protection Act). For anonymous, aggregated analysis of visit numbers and load times, we also use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights (provider: Vercel Inc., USA). According to the provider, both services operate entirely without cookies and without recognizing individual visitors; no individual user profiles are created. Beyond this, we do not use any marketing or tracking cookies. Should the scope of these tools change in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated in advance.
